another story...

well... if it wasnt bad enough... he might just be the 1st person to fail the electives during GIP. (If i can get A- for both my modules which are examed in chinese... it means it really is not failable...)

so during the graduation ceremony... he wasnt given a graduation certificate because he only submitted one essay. another girl who submitted only 1 of the 2 essay still received a certificate of completion... so why did he fail? maybe because he skipped too many classes or he was always late... but its not maybe... he is like that...

so the professor requested that he submit another essay so that he could pass the course. what did he do? he went to ask someone from the other university (fudan) to give him an essay so he can use it for "reference".

he got jianyou's copy and said he needed to thank him so he went into him room and searched for something to give him as thanks. he found a book that was given at graduation which contained all the essay written by the GIP students and bound together to form a book and wanted to give it to jianyou. jianyou rejected because it was bulky and took up too much baggage space.

then he went back to his room to source for something else... and what he found? a bottle of listerine... free sample piece. but jianyou rejected saying he didnt use stuff like that.

then back he went again... and he came out... with a packet of wet tissue. the one they give at restaurants with one piece inside.

lol... some ppl...

long lost posts...

woah... it's been way wayy wayyyyy too long since i did my last post. a lot has happened here in China and well... its now officially excatly 1 week be4 i leave for the airport and prepare to go back to singapore.

what has happened... travelled to quite a few places like 内蒙古, 千岛湖, 桐庐,苏州. i think those are the few that i haven really updated yet. nor have i posted the photos onto facebook.

the inner mongolia trip was quite fun and very relaxing... see desert, see grassland, ride camels and ride horses, eat interesting foods... qiandaohu is an eye opener, the pudong ppl booked one bus and we went there together, had loads of fun. suzhou we went to the amusement park... make me feel like a kid once again, but ya... it was worth it.

but more or less, quite tired of all the travelling but it was really a great experience.

my shopping spree stopped about 3 weeks ago and ya... my luggage size didnt seem to increase but started to decrease slowly due to the unwanted stuff that i don't think i will be bringing back with me.

BUT! i bought 2 shoes! one i think might be a bit too small and one that might be a bit too big... i think i wear a 44.5 (china size) but i bought a 44 and a 45.... i feel damn cock... lol... see how.... they both make good presents. lol!

bought a huge load of christmas presents for everyone... i really mean everyone... lol... including the new frens that might go for christmas service (let's hope i can give out all the presents!)

besides that... i'm glad that i got great housemates; Clarence, Hanbin, Jianqing, Yanwen and Carmen. really had lots of fun with the throughout the entire GIP. Not forgetting the Longyang ppl, Yingsin, Eileen, Jason, Jianyou, Sweemeng, Rongxin, Jingjing, Jianghan, Xiaoying... and our relatives in pudong, Suli, Rueyna, Bingxiang, Yihao, Chih Peng... and the occasional outing with the Puxi ppl either for dinner or soccer games; Mingjie, Junzhong, Junjie, Ee Seng, Samuel, Yunting, Weiqiang, Desmond, Janice, Liting, Kelly and Huiqian.

The whole experince would not have been so great if anyone of them were not around. Stuff like soccer games in the primary schools, drinking sessions, clubbing sessions (didnt go but got see how drunk clarence was when he got back... and i mean... u should REALLY see how clarence was), trips that are a must go, gatherings where we do pot lucks that are quite nice (we can cook!), shopping sprees where hanbin always says he doesnt want to buy anything but ends up with loads of junk, dinners where we have no idea what to eat so we go buffets and just order literally everything on the menu (you can really order EVERYTHING on the menu, including the sake, choya, teppanyaki and +++ for the jap buffet.... and we ate so much we couldnt walk back... had to take taxi back home), not forgetting the drama serial sprees, my 2 favorites are "The Drive of Life" & "Jumong"... lol... its like a never ending outing with friends

A lot of other things happened, good and not too good ones... most of the not too good ones happened to just one person... sigh... sometimes i wish he would just learn to grow up a bit and don't let ppl worry about him so much... i mean... where got people every night go get laid, don't go home to sleep with someone else, gets drunk ever so often, gets a china girlfriend and let her cheat all ure money, gets KIDNAPPED, beaten up, spends so much that he doesn't even have enough money to buy an airticket back home, craps but doesn't flush, bathes but doesn't close the door, washes the toilet but flooding it, curses and swears ever so often... sigh... next sem like got one more coming... dunno if it would turn out the same way... don't think it would be that bad. let's just hope for the best.

anyway... think Yingsin, Jianqing and myself did quite well in Emerson... lol... must make myself feel good. all the other companies are taking in the same no. of people for the next batch of GIP students except Emerson who's taking in 12!!! thats like 400% increase... lol... my head big liao. I know Chongmeng, Chennee, Huilin and Qingxi are all coming to Emerson... congrats, i seriously think it is one of the best companies to get here in GIP Shanghai.

but ya... all good things must come to an end... going back to singapore to settle the convo ball stuff... still haven't agreed to be the convo ball chair but from the looks of it, the chances of it happening is quite high... crap... need good ppl in my comm to make it happen. sigh... let's just hope for the best then...

and to everyone here in shanghai, thanks for always looking out for me and i hope you all as much, or if not more fun than me!
