Carmen tribute

It’s about time I do some justice to Carmen for bringing so much colour into our lives and making the weather feel so much cooler than it already is…. This is a tribute to her (no… she’s still alive and freezing us everyday)

Walking quotes… For saying how tired you are

1. Carmen
“My legs feel like I’ve just added softener”

2. Carmen vs Hanbin
Hanbin: My legs feel damn 酸 from all the walking
Carmen: Ya… got lemon

Talking about the past

Carmen: Hey ben, you were the last person I exchanged Fluids with
Ben: oh ya… that’s true
Clarence: OMG!
Ben: Fluids notes lar….

Dinner time

Yanwen: Who needs forks and spoon
Hanbin: It’s ok, I will stick to my chopsticks. Come China must learn how to use chopsticks.
Carmen: (Holding up her fork) That’s why I’m using 4.

Honestly… in order to be Carmen’s disciples, you need to bring around a notebook and a pen everywhere you go with her… cause you will never know when her next lesson will be… these are just some of the quotes that I happened to remember.

evil post... but sometimes... you just do it

Hmm…. I think this will be the first post of this kind that I’m posting… but I think it’s about time that I did.

I dunno if some people just want to be right all the time and everyone else has to be in the wrong. Whatever other people say, without thinking, they will just say something else to just question you. Sometimes it is true but most of the time, it feels like they are just doing it for the sake of it.

One classic example; Typhoon nearby Shanghai, the weather is raining with heavy winds coming from all directions. I decided to take a taxi to work as it costs about 26 to 29RMB, split between 3 people… you do the maths. I asked, “Let’s take a cab to work.” The most wonderful and powerful answer, “能等得到吗?”

Wahhhhhhhhhhh………………… so damn smart. We’ve been staying at that place for well over 3 months, just across the road, which we had to cross in the first place, was a taxi stand that had taxis queuing up, in a U shape. In short, there are about 50+++++ taxis just across the road, waiting for passengers. If the problem was to walk the distance to the taxi stand, there were taxis overflowing onto the side of the road which we could just hop on anytime. Sometimes I really do not know what he is thinking. In the end, we waited 40++mins for the bus to come and by then, my 19.90RMB umbrella was destroyed beyond recognition, my shoes and socks were soaked, the water soaked jeans and I was cold to the bones.
