quitting gambling

went for geneca's birthday on monday (new year's day) to like sit sit talk cock... actually wanted to just stay home and slack and play ps2 but guess geneca is still geneca, cannot pon her birthday

so went there, sat a while, saw a few temasek sec ppl like shiyun and a few more familiar faces, saw a few hall 10 ppl and of course the c26 ppl were there. not really eventful or anything but after the cake cutting and photo-taking, they decided to play blackjack. initially james was the banker, losing streak first but when he started to win back, he stopped and he arrowed me to be banker next.

i started off quite ok, standard, 16 17 and 18s. won a bit here and there. Then started to get really damn lucky. open 12 get 9, open 13 get 8, open 17 get 4, open ace and 5, draw 4, wanted to play big, draw another ace, bo bian, draw another one, get another ace, confirm 5 card. a lot of double pictures.

i should have stopped but then my luck went down hill, james and zhihan started to up their bets, james got a few ban lucks with $2 and $3 bets, zhihan got ban lucks and ban ban with $2 bets, i exploded many many times...

was ok with losing money one, den i said last game cause it was getting late and i had lost more than 10 bucks liao... pass out the cards... i showed everyone my first card, got an ace.... passed out everyone elses cards... den threw open my next card... another ace... stunned...

well thats the end, ended up from losing $10+ to winning $40+

i quit gambling this year... too much luck wasted that day
