LOTC : Episode 1 - Thunderstorm!

This story begins in NTU, a place filled with people possessing special gifts and powers....

"Thunderstorm!"

"siao eh! Not going for lecture ar?" Yuxin yelled out to James who was still in bed sleeping.

"Dun wan lar, damn tired and go also no use, don't listen in lecture also and never learn anything."

"James..... Go leh...... " Adeline suddenly came out of nowhere and decided to 'hit' on James. Immediately, James woke up, slammed the door, got dressed and ran to lecture, "you dun disturb me I go for lecture!" he yelled back at Adeline. Seeing this, Adeline just stomped her foot in anger and ran after James.

Maths lecture never seemed so dry, especially with Leiyu lecturing. With the lack of sleep, James and Yuxin's reserves were running on low and it was not long before they could not take it and fell asleep on the table. Everyone was minding their own business when suddenly, the lecture theatre started to fill up with clouds, thunder and lightning bolted through the lecture theatre and everyone was taken aback. Without thinking, all the CBE students packed up their stuff and hurriedly left the lecture theatre fearing for their own safety.

There were a few others left behind, Ben and Belle who were desperately trying to wake Yuxin up and Hanwei and Adeline who were kicking James to wake him up. However, their efforts were to no avail as they fail in their attempts miserably. The thunderstorm in the lecture theatre started to get worse and without thinking, they decided to carry Yuxin and James out of the lecture theatre.

Just before they reached the exit, a huge lightning bolt struck in front of them blocking their path. They jumped back and looked around and wondered who else was still in the lecture theatre. Then they saw him... Leiyu was standing in the middle of the lecture theatre with clouds fuming out of this body.

"You are not leaving here alive! Dare to sleep in my lecture! You shall pay!!" Bellowed Leiyu. Hanwei, Ben, Belle and Adeline looked at each other and knew they had no choice but to face off with Leiyu.

"Belle, you take care of Yuxin and James and try to wake them up. Those idiots, can never wake up one." After telling Belle that, Ben took a step forward to prepare for battle, Hanwei and Adeline both also prepared for battle.

Without warning, Leiyu's hair, from it's usual gelled side parting style exploded and a huge bolt of thunder shot down from the clouds above. Instinctively, the three of them dodged. At the same time, Hanwei took out his orange mechanical pencils and threw them at Leiyu. Leiyu laughed as another bolt of thunder shot down and vaporized the orange mechanical pencils in mid air.

"You think those puny things can hurt me?! Think again! Take...." But before he could finish his sentence, a huge wave of hair flew towards him and knocked him down.

"Heh! Take that! My hairy special!" Ben laughed. Leiyu stumbled but managed to get back on his feet. "YOU!!! You think that that was all I had?!" Leiyu then lifted up his hands and rain started to fall. It started to rain so heavily that it was getting harder to see and move.

"Thunder!" As Leiyu's voice echoed through the lecture theatre, a bolt of thunder shot down from the clouds above and went straight for Ben.

"Orange Mechanical Pencil Shield!" and an shield made up of orange mechanical pencils appeared in front of Ben and deflected the Thunder bolts just a split second before it could hit him.

"Thanks Hanwei. Let's show this guy what we can really do."

"Yeah... Let's go! Ben, Adeline, you know what to do right." The three of them looked at each other and understood immediately. Without another second of thought, Hanwei drew out as many Orange Mechanical Pencils as his hands could go and threw them into the air. "Orange Mechanical Pencil Barrage!"

"HA! That is not going to work on me! Thunderflash!" And a huge bolt of thunder blocked the path of the Orange Mechanical Pencils. But before he could even notice, Leiyu suddenly felt something creepy covering him. "Hair Bind!" As Ben's leg hair was now all over Leiyu and encased him in a cacoon.

"You! You will pay for this! Thun...."

"Thunderflash!" Yelled Adeline from across the lecture theatre. And a huge bolt of thunder shot down from the clouds above and hit Leiyu. A deafening cry was let out by Leiyu as the thunder hit him. Ben's hair cacoon was immediately burnt to a crisp and Leiyu was down on his knees in seconds.

"How.... how did you...." Leiyu looked at Adeline in disbelief as she had used his spell on him.

"I have the power to copy any spell so long as you say it out." Laughed Adeline.

"But this is not the end! It is about time I show you my ultimate spell... You wouldn't even be able to copy it as you will be dead once you see it." A weird yellow aura suddenly began to engulf Leiyu. Sensing the danger, Hanwei signalled to the rest of them to get behind him as he started to create a new Orange Mechanical Pencil Shield.

Without warning, one of the lecture theatre doors flew open.... It was Amanda! Warp holes started to engulf the whole lecture theatre. Seeing that this was their chance to escape, they picked up James and Yuxin and jumped into one warp hole together. From behind them, all they could hear was Leiyu's rage.

It was not long before the appeared on the otherside of the warphole and they were at the SRC.

"Thank god that Amanda appeared late, I mean on time."

"Yah, her Time Warp ability saved us this time." Adeline replied to Ben.

"But somehow I don't think she knows how to control her power yet as she always ends up using it on herself unknowingly and hence getting herself late for everything even though she was meant to be early." Commented Hanwei.

"Ya"
