material science?

to think that we just had our material science exams just a week back and....

james was talking about how his father had a stainless steel metal bar in his left leg and how it broke into 2. we were then talking about how it could happen, james said sheer stress and tensional forces. hanwei and me said the repeated bending effect. then i asked "what is that effect called?"

we all stunned, no one knew the answer. i took out the material science textbook to check, cannot find, went online to edventure to look at material science nots, cannot find (apparently i was looking at the wrong chapters). hanwei took over and searched through the right notes and we found out the term.... fatigue. arghh.... we were all damn irritated with ourselves for being so dumb

but den again, fatigue is really starting to sink in.... studied from 7pm wed night and now is 730am thurs morning and im still here, not done... sigh...

but it's nearing the end.... thank god

again i pray for a good paper for my friends and me...
